Rebekah Hawker & Renee Coughlin BC Home Routes Tour

House Concert, Saltair, BC

Homeroutes Presents:
Renee Coughlin (The Pairs) and Rebekah Hawker join their songwriting in this tour de force to offer an intimate evening of storytelling and folk song sharing. Expect two individual sets of captivitating songwriting followed by a collaboration between the artists of their favourite covers.

Renee Coughlin. Equal parts tender and untamed, Renée’s songwriting and performance traces the strange beauty of being human – hope firmly rooted next to grief, love next to longing. After nearly a decade of touring internationally with acclaimed indie-folk trio, The Pairs, Renée has begun to develop her career as a solo artist as well. Leaning further into heartfelt storytelling, Renée’s music lands somewhere between confession and campfire mythology. With an honesty that can quiet a room, Renée’s lyrics, melodies and performances create a world that is beautifully open and unresolved.
